Most frequent questions and answers about our Martial Arts Programs
Field Martial Arts Academy – 170 Kerry Pl. Norwood, MA 02062. The door is on the left rear side of the building.
Our Lil Dragons program is ages 4-7. Karate Kids Basic is ages 7-12.
For the Kids Martial Arts program, our style is an eclectic mix of martial arts that takes influence from several different styles including Karate, Taekwondo and Krav Maga.
For our Adult programs we offer Fitness Kickboxing and Krav Maga. We are an affiliate of the Krav Maga Alliance.
For Private Lessons, a parent or guardian is required to be there.
For group classes, it is strongly encouraged that parents attend but not mandatory.
We have a strict 10 minute late policy to allow for proper warmup and avoid injury. This also prevents disruption in the class.
Krav Maga can be modified to benefit all fitness levels, ages (13+), and experience levels.
As long as you are medically cleared to exercise, you are fit enough to start!
Kids Martial Arts – a FMAA uniform will be provided at your first lesson.
Krav Maga – Black workout pants/shorts. An official FMAA/Krav Maga shirt and belt will be provided at your first lesson.
Fitness Kickboxing – Comfortable workout clothes. Your gloves will be provided at your first class.
